A curated auction celebrating a decade of processing innovation between Jamison Savage and Sasa Sestic — from Volcán to Guji, Nyeri and Santa Bárbara.
the story behind the auction
Two companies, one playbook, ten years in the making.
In early 2016, Sasa brought Jamison a concept the coffee world had only seen once before, on the World Barista Championship stage in Seattle. What followed was Jamison's model; a retrofitted beer tank, CO₂ valves, and thirty pounds of washed Morgan Geisha: his first carbonic maceration trial, with no playbook to guide it. It worked, and he never looked back.
A decade later, the two companies co-own a farm and share a processing playbook that spans Panama, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Honduras. Jamison’s coffees have been behind four World Barista Championship titles, Sasa’s a World Brewers Cup title, the first female world champion, and the first African finalist. Yet, none of it has ever gone to auction. This is that first one: built to run annually, to become one of the strongest in coffee, and, from year two on, will open its doors to the Producers we've mentored along the way and others we invite to participate.
This is a global, Producer focused platform, with a spirit sharing coffee excellence while assisting our fellow Producers in need.

The Producer
Jamison Savage. Always innovating, always looking ahead
Volcán - Boquete: Leadership, Precision, Consistency
the sourcer
Sasa Sestic. From the cup back to the farm.
Canberra, Australia. Direct relationships in eighteen origins, and the coaching record behind them.
The Auction
What goes under the hammer.
Thirty five to forty coffees, curated by Jamison and Sasa and cross-cupped on both sides of the Pacific before a single one is confirmed. The innovative lots are small on purpose — 15 to 20 kg, some as little as 5 to 10 kg — sitting alongside the classic washed and natural lots that built the reputations. Scarcity is part of the point.
Bid with purpose: 5 percent of gross sales to producers in need.

Where the coffees come from
Four farms. Fifteen stations. Twelve origins.
Panama is the anchor — Finca Deborah Iris Estate Morgan Estate and Don Eduardo in Volcán. Around it, Project Origin's own farms and the collaborative processing stations where the same playbook runs with the farmer: Ethiopia, Kenya, Honduras, Nicaragua, Brazil and beyond.

Invented on the farm, proven on the stage
Four processes. One playbook.

Gross contribution
to global Producers
Yet the vision extends further still…
The Origin Coffee Vault will dedicate five percent of gross auction sales to the tangible betterment of coffee producers and their families—through clean water works, accessible healthcare, upgraded living conditions, and more. This is not mere charity, but a philosophical commitment to reciprocity: the understanding that true excellence flourishes only when human dignity is honored at its source. In giving back a portion of the value created, we affirm a deeper truth—that the beauty of a cup is inseparable from the well-being of those who coax it from the earth. It is an act of shared flourishing, a quiet insistence that prosperity, like the finest coffee, must nourish every hand that shapes it.
